Have you been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis? Are you looking for some support or just someone to talk with and share similar experiences or ask for advice? If so, we are here for you. Come and be a part of an extended family from around the globe. Multiple Sclerosis does not discriminate, and while it is a horrible disease to deal with, I consider myself very fortunate for being diagnosed with MS nine years ago has allowed me to meet some of the most wonderful people and I am proud to call them my friends/extended family. Being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis can be a scary experience. I was diagnosed eleven years ago. At the age of 29, I was told that I had Multiple Sclerosis (MS). I had no idea what it was and thought that I had something that was going to kill me. Aside from getting good medical attention, having family and friends who can support you and be there for you is just as important. Hand in Hand Support is meant to be your extended family. We consist of people around the globe who have been diagnosed with MS. We will laugh with you, cry with you, offer words of support and encouragement, and each of us have different levels of knowledge regarding Multiple Sclerosis...all stemming from personal experiences. So please do not feel that you are alone. We are here for you whether you want to vent and scream, ask for advice, share a joke or just need a shoulder . Emails are sent out to the group on a daily basis and feedback is always welcome. So if you don't know where to turn, this is a great place to be. Just email me and I will be more than happy to have you join the family.
